Tyrannosaurs: The Exhibition
Photos from the Tyrannosaurs exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Additional photos will be added to this Photo Gallery over the coming days - so please check back in.
The exhibition visits Edinburgh on its European debut, on release from Australian Museum.
Opens 23rd January 2020. Ends 4th May 2020.
Info @ Tyrannosaurs.
The Tyrannosaurs exhibition features interactive games, augmented reality, life models (including Guanlong, and a scary-looking feathered Dilong), a life-cast of the largest T. rex skeleton named Scotty, skull casts (including Nanotyrannus...maybe), and real tyrannosaur fossils (from the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, USA) – some of the earliest to be discovered. Visitors can explore the history, diversity, and ecology of this most enigmatic family of dinosaur, including Tyrannosaurus rex, the largest, and last, of the predatory, carnivorous theropod dinosaurs.
For full story and other photos see Tyrannosaurs: from T. rex to Nanotyrannus, all features great and small.
