Herring Gull of Carradale
We tend to overlook the beauty and sharpness of a well-groomed gull; I like to think this image demands a re-evaluation. I love the way the bird was naturally framed by the pink flowers in the foreground. This is a European Herring Gull (Larus argentatus).
