Trix, the Tyrannosaurus rex, skull
Skull of Trix, the Tyrannosaurus rex. If you look carefully, you can see scratch marks on the upper jaw, and puncture holes in the lower jaw. Trix, with pathologies evident, is direct evidence of the physiologically traumatic life that T. rex endured. The life of a large predatory dinosaur was not all plain sailing... photographed at the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow.
