Wee Reekie - Amorphophallus konjac
Coming through - Wee Reekie (Amorphophallus konjac) at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh
A developing Amorphophallus konjac nearly ready to flower. When it does, the spathe (leaf-like layer surrounding protruding spadix) will descend and reveal the flowers and... the smell - of rancid flesh. Nice. Wee Reekie at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
