Goatfell with birch tree, Glen Sannox
There was a stark contrast between the rusty colours of the vegetation of Glen Sannox and the grey rocky cliffs and peaks of Goatfell, in those moments when the sun came through the cloud. On a wintry day with changeable weather. There were trees at the foot of the glen, and the curvature of Goatfell and position of this birch (Betula) tree made a compelling composition.
