I specifically had this image in mind on a late night visit to St. Margaret's Loch in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. I was rewarded with good moonlight and cooperative Mute Swans (Cygnus olor). Apart from the swans, I also encountered the Park Police who, despite me hanging suspiciously around in the dark, were very friendly and understanding. The ruin of St. Anthony's Chapel, origin 15th Century, looks down from Arthur's Seat to the Loch.
