Looking down the barrel of a white rhino... This is a quite unusual situation to be in. And there cannot be too many photos out there to match this image. This is a wild white rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum) and I was on foot and not very far away (50 metres). I used the cover to stalk the rhino through the veld, and hid behind a rock to capture this image whilst this massive adult male rhino continued grazing unaware - but head-on.
