Lonely tree of Glen Garry
View from the misty Glen Garry. Damp, dreich, barren and absolutely beautiful. There is something weird and interesting going on with the geology here; note the undulating pyramidal topography. These mounds are drumlins, a sign of former glacial activity in the landscape. The lonely tree gives scale and perspective to the scene.
