Edinburgh University Old College at night. The darkness illuminated by the lights. Beautiful architecture and symmetry of the quadrangle of Old College. Bringing together two of Edinburgh's most talented enlightenment architects, originally Robert Adam (1789-1792), and later William Henry Playfair (1817-18-27) . The atmosphere here on a quiet cold winter's night is wonderful.
