Pair of mating burnet moths (Amata phegea)

One of the more bright and attractively coloured moth species@: the yellow-belted burnet moth (nine-spotted moth, Amata phegea). The blue with white speckles contrasted nicely against the monotone green of the surrounding vegetation. This pair in copulation were very tolerant. Medvednica Nature Park.
